I have a few more things to post about our little growing up girl, but here is a slideshow of photos from her birthday parties. We had one party in the morning with some of her friends, and then Grandma Mike, Aunt Katie, and cousins Paige and Emma came over that evening for cake and presents :)

Valentines Day with the Jorgensens
We had such a treat this last week. One of my best friends from high school (and still today even though we live several states away) Keri and her husband Jeff came to visit. Their three kids, as well as Jeff's parents were along, and we had a GREAT time with them. I am still working on getting over my morning.... or really all day sickness... so I know that I was not quite the host I was planning on being, but I hope they enjoyed themselves as much as we enjoyed having them! Scott said after they left that he really wishes we could live close to them. This might partly be because Jeff shot one of the rabbits that has been eating our very precious new lawn, but mostly I know it is because Jeff and Keri are always happy and always fun to talk to about life and God and everything else, and would be the greatest neighbors if only God ever had that happen!
After they left, I realized that the trip went by so quickly that I hardly remembered to take ANY pictures! SO SAD! We even spent a whole day at Disneyland with them, and I have NO pictures to prove we were there together!
We did happen to get a few of the girls making Valentine's cookies... and the boys, well, eating:
Kali May missed the stick-out-your-tongue memo:
Bath Time with Henry
Our little friend Henry lives just down the street (well a couple streets) from us, and so he and his mom are frequently at our house. The other night, ALL of the kiddos were in desperate need of a bath... so they got one!
The Digging Days
I posted about this briefly before, but I just have to brag on my husband a little bit. He has spent an entire month doing nothing but digging trenches and installing drain pipes, electrical lines, and sprinkler lines for our front and backyard.
One of the "perks" of our low purchase price for this house was that it did not have any landscaping done. Now, to me, that meant that we would get to pick where to plant flowers. Thats it. I think personally if I would have known all the work that it would take, I would have voted for a previously landscaped yard. But not Scott. He knew EXACTLY what he was getting into, and I think he was actually excited about it. And really, the kids were pretty excited about it too.
Now that the digging is all done (no thanks to a trencher that we rented that practically allowed Scott to do all the digging by himself), I can actually see why Scott was so excited about all the work. The memories we have of the "digging days" are pretty fun (now that they are over), and now the yard is done (for the most part) and grass is actually growing!
I will post more pictures of the grass soon.... it was attacked by hungry rabbits and isn't looking too great at the moment... but here are some more photos of the Digging Days:
